I co-designed this short again with Hannah Budd, written by Steve Deery, Directed by Simon Dymond.
The short follows the life of a middle aged married couple, Kevin and Mary, Played by Kiki Kendrick and Michael Kenneth Stewart. We based the heart of the home in the Kitchen, and with only a £120 budget, we meticulously planned shot by shot, in order to suggest the house was lived in.
The film was shot over 2 days in an empty suburban house, which meant we had to dress the set per shot in order to make it believable. This type of dressing requires a good working relationship with the director, and working to storyboards.
